FUTURE NEWS RADIO
the voice of tomorrow!
Taught by dublab
Opportunities for students ages 6 – 18
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Three Saturdays: June 14, June 21, and June 28
This workshop takes place at 826LA East
1714 Sunset Blvd., Echo Park, CA 90026

Let your visionary voice be heard! Help write and record a 30-minute radio show featuring reports on futuristic news, sports, science, arts, weather, traffic and more! Use your forward-thinking imagination to transmit the exciting events to come. The power is in your hands to turn today's ears onto tomorrow!

Please note that this workshop is three sessions. Students will write and revise their radio stories on the first session, record them (in the futuristic 826LA / dublab studio) on the second, and present the live, finished broadcast on the third.

dublab is a non-profit web radio collective devoted to the growth of positive music, arts, and culture. We have been broadcasting independently since 1999. dublab's mission is to share beautiful music via the world's best DJs. The dublab collective loves spreading its creative enthusiasm and can often be found doing so at super spots like LACMA, Farmlab, the Getty Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Natural History Museum of LA County.
