2) For the prizes (TBA), the trophy, free entrance to the Post-Race Show (featuring The Damselles and Super Duper) at The Echo, the title of World’s Best Paddle Boat Racers, and the eternal glory of victory.

How:
Register to boat at www.826la.org/regatta between now and August 16th. Registration is free (for a limited time), though teams must raise $100 in order to race. As soon as the team has signed up, anyone and everyone can come to this website to pledge their support for the team(s) of their choice. Spaces are limited, so register today!

By donating money to the teams, the pledger helps buy their favorite team a better starting position. Team members should raise as much money as possible, because regatta teams will be ranked by their total funds raised.

Each heat will have a maximum of 15 boats. The “Commodores” (top 15 fund-raisers) will send 5 teams to finals, “Lieutenants” (mid-15 fund-raisers) sends 3 teams and “Ensigns” (lowest 15 fund-raisers) sends 2 teams. Additionally, we will be raffling one boat in the Commodore heat for $20 a ticket.
