Partners in Time Presents: Dana Goodyear and Joel Stein

Partners in Time Members at the Near Future ($500+) level and above are invited to an exclusive event featuring writers Dana Goodyear and Joel Stein in conversation with Los Angeles Magazine Food and Dining Writer Lesley Bargar Suter. Katie Bundschu from Gundlach Bundschu, the nearly century-old vineyard from Northern California, will be providing a curated selection of their estate wines for tasting.

On the table for the evening’s discussion is all things food in Los Angeles. From the latest food trends and remarkable chefs to ingredients you don’t want to miss, Dana Goodyear and Joel Stein will dig into eating in LA with Lesley Bargar Suter.

Join us on February 27th as we gather in support of 826LA’s free education programs for Los Angeles students. Hosted by Jodie Evans, this intimate evening affair will bring wine and LA’s lively food scene together in celebration of 826LA’s work in the community.

Current Partners in Time members, please RSVP directly to Shawn@826LA.org. To renew or upgrade your membership, which includes access to exclusive events throughout the year, visit www.826LA.org/join or call 213-413-3388.

Dana Goodyear is an editor at the New Yorker. Of her book Anything That Moves: Renegade Chefs, Fearless Eaters and The Making of a New American Food Culture, Slate wrote, “Food editors need people like her. Anyone who can write so wisely and entertainingly about eating rarities is a rarity herself.”

Journalist and author Joel Stein writes a weekly column for Time Magazine and is a contributor to Los Angeles Times, EsquireTravel & Leisure, and Food & Wine, among others. He is the author of Man Made: A Stupid Quest for Masculinity and an avid foodie.

Our moderator Lesley Bargar Suter, food and dining writer for Los Angeles Magazine, is the first recipient of the James Beard Award for food coverage in a general-interest publication.
