We’re looking for creative and highly-skilled volunteers to help create memorable fundraising, donor stewardship and appreciation events. Your work will make a lasting impact on 826LA and our students.

The Special Events Committee assists in the planning, execution, and post production follow-up of high-impact 826LA events. Duties such as promoting the events, finding volunteers, set-up and break-down, assisting with participation, etc., are all ways the Special Events Committee supports 826LA.

The Committee meets 4-6 times a year and will alternate between the Echo Park and Mar Vista centers. Depending on the events at hand, subcommittees may meet weekly or on a bi-monthly basis to further our event planning activities.

826LA events are known for being imaginative and humorous, and always in service of an important cause!
