Students in this workshop will be ages 8-12.

Expanding your vocabulary can be a challenging task, but don’t worry because 826LA is here to help! In this workshop, you’ll join Nick the Intern on a hunt to nd the mysterious, missing words of the Time Travel Mart. Only you will be able to help him recover these precious words to create The Golden Story. The words might seem strange but by the end of this workshop, you will have expanded your vocabulary to include more complicated and sophisticated words. Plus, you’ll have written The Golden Story of the Time Travel Mart!

This workshop will be led by Nick Coleman. Nick is an LA-native who is currently an intern for 826LA as well as a student and intern at California State University, Northridge. He works in the Student Outreach department working with students in order to help them pursue academic success at CSUN. He hopes to work in education as a counselor once he graduates this fall.
