It’s time to support our future writers, scholars, and community members.

Our Ninth Annual Great Los Angeles Personal Statement Weekend is around the corner, and you are needed to help 300 high school seniors write their college application essays and attend the college or university of their dreams!

Whether you’ve attended Great Los Angeles Personal Statement Weekends in the past or have never been a volunteer with 826LA, our students need your help. You’ll spend the day working one-on-one with a student to listen to their story and help shape their life experiences into responses that reveal the student’s incredible dedication and character.

You can volunteer for one or both days.
