It’s time to empower our future writers, activists, and community members.

Our Eight Annual Great LA Personal Statement Weekend is on the horizon, and you are needed to help 200 high school seniors increase their chances at gaining admission to their dream colleges.

Whether you’ve attended past Great LA Personal Statement Weekends or have never volunteered with 826LA before, our students need your help. You’ll spend the day working one-on-one with a student to listen to their story and help shape their life experiences into responses that reveal the student’s incredible dedication and character.

You can volunteer for either one or both days.
