    Greetings, denizens of 2009!

Recently (well, technically 54 years ago, but you know what I mean), the fine folks at the Echo Park Time Travel Mart asked me to write a weekly post on their blog, sending brief accounts of my expeditions back to the early 21st century.

Now, I haven’t had a blog since I was 6.  Initially the thought of again communicating via such a quaint medium struck me as regrettably ozone.  But the TTM has long been an invaluable source for my eleventh-hour temporal transpositionary needs (yes, they are paying me to say that, but it also happens to be true.)  How could I shrug an establishment whose wares have been of such use and whose staff has been so supportive, even before I garnered the reputation that now precedes me?  I couldn’t.  And I didn’t.  Which brings us more or less up to date.

I expect it will be a punch for you old-timers to learn what the future (and the past) holds in store. As they said back in the day of the television set: Stay Tuned…
