Juniors/11th graders compose their personal statements for the college entrance application process and focus their narratives and to elaborate on one area that will accurately depict who they are based on their individual experiences and who they want to become with the guidance of a college education.

Students and volunteers (many of them professional journalists) meet in Mar Vista on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to work on Viva Mar Vista (Formerly The Venice Wave).
